oriental

This is a first attempt  at an oriental style watercolor

This is one of  my favorite plein air memories.  I had fun in Spencerville, Indiana, at this celebrated historic bridge, painting with close friend and fellow artist, Leslie White.  It was “buggy” that day because it was warm, but well worth it.  This is watercolor and pen and ink.

Old school house converted to a home in Laotto, Indiana. This painting was done plein air style, a friend lives here and she was kind enough to allow me to sit in her yard and do this piece.
